Seoul Korea: Italian Pizza, 'LAMOTTA'
After a long time, my friend and I took a trip to Sinsa-dong, Seoul, Korea
and ended up at an Italian pizzeria called La Motta.
I’d been taking a break from blogging,
but wow—this place had me snapping photos,
thinking, “I’ve got to write about this!”
It’s the perfect spot to enjoy delicious pizza in a beautiful setting.
I felt like I’d been transported to Italy!
making it a fun find.
From the exterior, you can feel the Italian vibe,
with its European-style architecture, while inside, it’s all clean, modern decor.
The warm lighting and wooden tables create a cozy, welcoming atmosphere as soon as you step in.
and I was pleasantly surprised to find more tables on the side than I expected!

each with a recommended beer pairing listed alongside.
Pizzas are topped with all kinds of ingredients
—potato, eggplant, radish greens, zucchini, ham, and more!
I wanted to try them all, but I had to choose carefully.
So, I picked two to start with!

The first pizza we tried was the “Melanzane,” topped with eggplant.
As soon as I took a bite, the aroma of basil tickled my senses, and the crust—wow!
It was light and full of flavor.
I usually leave the pizza crust behind, but this one had me rethinking that habit!
Why is the crust here so delicious…?
The second pizza we tried was the “Yeolmu Salsiccia,” topped with radish greens.
Both my friend and I agreed this was the best one!
Who would’ve thought that yeolmu, a traditional Korean ingredient,
would pair so perfectly with pizza?

The “Zucchini Ricotta” had such a light, savory flavor.
Kind of like eating Korean zucchini pancakes, haha.
Our top pick? Definitely the one with radish greens!
I even grabbed a business card on my way out,
determined to come back and try the rest of the menu next time!
The card itself is so pretty, too!
I’m definitely going back!
